Mexico, La Laja
This Mexican Decaf is a traceable single estate coffee sourced from ‘La Laja’, a farm located close to the village of Huatusco in the state of Veracruz. The farm prides itself on its dedication to sustainability and has been awarded with both Rainforest Alliance and 4C certifications.
The decaffeination process used, called ‘Mountain Water Process’ is an organic certified, non-chemical method which uses the crystal clear waters from the highest mountain in Mexico, the Pico de Orizaba, to carefully remove caffeine from the green beans.
This naturally decaffeinated coffee has deliciously-sweet chocolate notes with hints of caramel, and a clean aftertaste.
