El Romerillo, Peru (Washed)

Exclusive to Fire & Flow, this coffee was grown by the wonderful Rosa Burga at El Romerillo in Peru. Rosa has a large focus on gender equality, championing all women within the coffee industry in Peru. She is also a big advocate for fair wages and ethical working conditons and invests heavily in employee training and farm safety.

Rosa understands the delicate balance between producing exceptional coffee and preserving the natural environment. At El Romerillo a series of meticulous soil management practices are impelmented, minimising environmental impact and promoting sustainable farming.

A washed process is used for this coffee, leaving delicious notes of delicate pink grapefruit, balanced by the sweetness of pear.
