El Carmen, in the Huila region of Colombia has transformed in recent years due to being a part of the ‘Red Associations’. New drying bed facilities, investment in quality assessment and stabilised prices through a community hub have created higher incomes for farmers, whilst maintaining Colombia's famous coffee quality.
Our decaffeinated coffee is naturally decaffeinated at source using the by-product of fermenting sugarcane. In Colombia, where plenty of sugar cane is grown, it makes sense to use this naturally occurring by-product to complement their thriving coffee industry.
